How Will You Benefit from Joining the Online-Onsite Course?

This unique 24-month course uses blended learning to provide dental professionals with an opportunity to learn how to orthodontically manage patients with moderately complex malocclusions at an internationally acceptable level. By the end of the course, participants are expected to be able to recognize, diagnose, and manage the treatment of patients with simple to moderate malocclusions.

The online modules allow you to learn and study at home or work, while the onsite clinical sessions (in dedicated cities) and online supervision enable you to learn and practice patient-skills under the supervision of orthodontists recognized by the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO).

This course does not replace post-graduate specialist programs, but it is the first step in teaching international level orthodontic care.

What is Involved in the Blended Learning Course?

The Level 1 curriculum has two mandatory components: online and onsite-clinical.

Five online modules cover theory and knowledge to prepare participants to examine, treat, and explain the pros and cons of treatment options for patients with simple to moderate malocclusions.

Six onsite sessions require participants to present and discuss orthodontic evaluation and management as well as to learn and practice the clinical skills used in orthodontic care.

Each participant will also examine, treat, present, and defend two approved patient cases under the supervision of orthodontists recognized by the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO). Most importantly, participants will learn which malocclusions are too complex for them to treat competently.

What Dental Professionals Say About This Course

This is a very effective way of distant learning as you can read the materials over and over again, knowing that all your questions will be addressed either online or during onsite sessions.

– Dr. Quyen Le Pham

I hesitated a lot before enrolling for this course, so afraid that my English is not good enough. However, the online content turned out to be quite easy to follow with clear illustrations. The onsite sessions were also great as the instructors explained carefully and we had fun with the exercise. I have applied a lot of things I learned from this course to my daily practice.

– Dr. Nga Thuy Huynh
