Orthodontic Diagnosis and Treatment Planning – Applied (Module 1B) is designed to focus on building the participant’s practical skills and emphasizes the importance of the cephalometric interpretation for case selection and management.

It teaches participants how to take consistent dental photographs for their records, and also for marketing and social media purposes (as these photos are different).

We use the fillable examination form to diagnose and treatment plan our cases and learn how to effectively manage these selected cases.

Module 1B covers:

  1. Orthodontic Examination
  2. Dental Photography
  3. Model Analysis Review
  4. Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
  5. Case Presentation.

It includes: live webinars, videos, lecture recordings, reading materials, and reference articles, and is complemented with exercises, quizzes, and the participants’ case presentations.

Study Time: Module 1B should take approximately 20 hours to complete over a 4-month period (or less). The module is designed to require about 20 hours of effort, however the time frame and actual effort may vary from one individual to another.

Prerequisite: Orthodontic Diagnosis and treatment Planning – Theoretical (Module 1A)
