Lower incisors control is critical in orthodontics and it is sometimes overlooked for the sake of speed and “efficiency”.

Using a straight wire system and a round NiTi wire  may result in uncontrolled tipping and proclination of lower incisors which may compromise their periodontal health and affect incisor coupling at the end of treatment.
