Ho Thi Thuy Trang, DDS., PhD.

Dr. Ho Thi Thuy Trang graduated with the highest rank from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMPH), Vietnam in 1993. She obtained the Certificate of postgraduate Program in Orthodontics (1994-1997) and (1998-2000) from UMPH with HVO and with the University of Bordeaux, France. She received her Master’s Degree in 1999 and PhD Degree in 2015.

Dr. Trang has been a lecturer at the Department of Orthodontics, Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, UMPH since 1998 with an interest in several topics, for example: diagnosis and treatment plan, deepbite and open bite, interceptive, camouflage treatment, Class III malocclusions, functional and removable appliances. She has been specialized in treating Vietnamese patients with malocclusions for over 25 years.

Dr. Trang is currently the Head of the Orthodontic Department, Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City. She is an active member of the Science Board and in charge of developing a curriculum in Orthodontic Program, FOS, UMPH. She is also a vice-president of HAO (Ho Chi Minh City Association of Orthodontists) and VAO (Vietnamese Association of Orthodontists).

Lu Minh Loc, DDS., MS.

Dr. Lu Minh Loc graduated with honors from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 1993 and obtained his Master’s Degree in 2012.

He is a lecturer of the Orthodontic Department, Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, UMPH since 2006.

Dr. Loc is interested in several topics: biomechanics, openbite, preventive and interceptive orthodontics, functional appliances, and lingual braces.

He is an experienced orthodontic clinician in the treatment of Vietnamese patients.

Mai Thi Thu Thao, DDS., MS.

Dr. Thao graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 1990.  She was a resident in Orthodontics at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City from 1990 to 1994, and obtained her Master’s Degree in 1997.

Dr. Thao was a lecturer at the Department of Orthodontics, Faculty of Odonto – Stomatology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City.  She has been teaching Orthodontics at the undergraduate and post- graduate levels for over 20 years. Her focus is diagnosis and treatment of class II malocclusions, and using TAD in orthodontic treament.

Dr. Thao is an experienced orthodontic clinician for malocclusions in Vietnamese population.

Tran Bich Van, DDS., MS.

Dr. Tran Thi Bich Van graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (UMPH) in 2004.

She was a resident of the Orthodontic Department (2005 –2008) and obtained her Master’s Degree in 2010.

Dr. Van received the Certificate of Orthodontics-UMPH in 2015. She has been a lecturer of the Orthodontic Department since 2009.

Dr. Van is also an experienced orthodontic clinician in the treatment of Vietnamese patients.

Nguyen Tuyet Oanh, DDS., MS.

Dr. Nguyen Tuyet Oanh graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (UMPH) in 1997. She obtained a MS degree in 2011 and a Certificate of Orthodontics in 2015 from UMPH.

Dr. Nguyen Tuyet Oanh has been Head of Dental Clinics of the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, UMPH, Vietnam since 2015.

She is also a lecturer in the Orthodontic Department and has been an experienced orthodontic clinician for many years.

Quach Kim Nguyen, DDS.

Dr. Quach Kim Nguyen graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (UMPH) in 1991. She obtained the Certificate of Orthodontics in 2015 from UMPH.

She worked at the Faculty of Orthodontics, Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology from 1997 to 2003.

Dr. Nguyen has been a tutor of the Orthodontic Department and an experienced doctor of Orthodontic Clinics, FOS, UMPH since 2005.
